What is it?
Clouding of the eye’s natural lens, which causes blurred vision and sometimes light sensitivity.
Symptoms
Blurred or cloudy vision, glare, difficulty seeing at night, and colours that look duller.
When to seek care
When the cataract starts to affect daily activities.
Diagnosis and treatment
Diagnosis is by eye examination. The only treatment is surgery to replace the lens.
